3D-TFM PAUT Imager
Advantages
- High Detecting Rate
With 64 channels working in parallel, inspection is not subject to the shape of reflector and the blind zone is shorter (composites -0.3mm; carbon steel-0.6mm). With FMC sampling capability up to 4096 (A-scan waveform), it's able to reach 2m in depth.
- All-Around 3D View
The 3D image can be turned around for the user to view the defects from different aspects.
- High Definition
Instead of the traditional delay laws, TFM restructuring algorithm and high-speed FPGA-based hardware are adopted so as to realize fine 2D/3D imaging from original appearance of the reflector (65536 pts, ext. to 262144 pts) with the refresh rate up to 50fps.
- RF Metadata Platform
Original signals are accessible and can be processed through RF metadata platform on computer.
- Real-Time Scan in Continuity
The scan real-time and can be made in continuity with the encoder installed on a scanner to demonstrate "4D" imaging at rate of 100mm/s, specific to weldments for visual results.
- Multiple Inspection Modules
Multiple inspection modules are provided, such as "Screwbolt", KLW: 1L -2D" (one- leg longitudinal wave), "LW: LOF-2D" (lack of fusion), MSW: 3D", etc., with different wedges and scanners as solutions to a great variety of objects.
- Offline Analysis and Report
Offline analysis over the size and location of the defect can be done by adjusting the framing lines (cursor) from three dimensions and saved as report.
