Electronic Universal Hardness Tester SHR-187.5

SHR-187.5 is a universal hardness testing instrument for the measurement of Brinell, Rockwell and Vickers scale.

SHR-187.5 equips 7-testing-foce and 5-indenter, it is universal to measure a lot of material.

SHR-187.5 dwell time from 1 to 60S can be setup by the "time key" on the panel, it is much convenient than the setup on the manual hardness tester;

SHR-187.5 force knob adopts the metal material to replace the plastic, it improves the instrument using-life greatly;

SHR-187.5 loading, dwell and unloading is driven by electronic motor automatically, doesn't need the operator to handle it, it eliminates the human operating error maximum.

The Rockwell test consists of measuring the additional depth to which a carbide ball or diamond penetrator is forced by a heavy (major) load beyond the depth of a previously applied light (minor) load (SET point).

The minor load is applied first and a SET position is established on the dial gauge or displacement sensor of the Rockwell tester. Then the major load is applied. Without moving the piece being tested, the major load is removed and, with the minor load still applied, the Rockwell hardness number is automatically indicated on the dial gauge or digital display.
